Abstract (en)
Method for applying decoration to a support (100) in which means (10) are used to deposit an ink solution (200) on the support. The ink contains thermally expandable particles and a microwave device (20) is used to expose the support and ink to microwaves such that the particles deposited in the ink solution expand. The invention also relates to a corresponding article having a support on which an ink design can be deposited, such as a bottle, container, pot, cardboard box, etc.
