Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1234776A2] A palette for transporting stacked plates, esp insulation material, which form packing units, comprises a support member which is located on a carrier element so there is a space between them, so a lifting unit can raise the stack. The carrier element (4) consists of a plastically deformable material, and has bulges (6) which help locate the supporting members (11). The support surface is covered by a film made of a fibre reinforced Al-PE laminate.
