Shower device comprises a hand shower (2), an upright, curved holding tube (10) designed as a holding device for the hand shower, and a flexible hose (20). The hose can be removed with the hand shower from the holding tube. The holding tube in the region of the neutral fiber has a longitudinal slit (100) on one side. The showerhead (24) has a neck part with a guide part having a shape corresponding to the cross-section of the hollow space of the holding tube. The guide part is axially inserted in and removed from the holding tube and engages in the longitudinal slit with the neck part so that the hand shower is held by the guide part in any axial position in the holding tube and the showerhead lies near the holding tube. Preferred Features: The holding tube is more curved in the upper region than in the lower region.

Bei einer Brausevorrichtung, bei der eine Handbrause (2) und ein als Haltevorrichtung (1) ausgebildetes, aufrecht angeordnetes, gekrümmtes Halterohr (10) vorgesehen ist, von dem eine das Brausewasser zuführende flexible Schlauchleitung (20) aufgenommen und die Handbrause (2) gehalten werden kann, ist vorgeschlagen, dass die Schlauchleitung (20) mit der Handbrause (2) aus dem Halterohr (10) herausnehmbar ausgebildet ist, wobei das Halterohr (10) im Bereich der neutralen Faser an einer Seite einen Längsschlitz (100) hat, während am Brausekopf (24) der Handbrause (2) ein Halsteil (22) mit einem entsprechend dem Querschnitt des Hohlraums des Halterohrs (10) geformten Führungsteil (21) vorgesehen ist, das axial in das Halterohr (10) einschiebbar und herausschiebbar ist und mit dem Halsteil (22) den Längsschlitz (100) durchgreift, so dass die Handbrause (2) vom Führungsteil (21) in beliebiger axialer Stecklage in dem Halterohr (10) gehalten ist und der Brausekopf (24) in der Stecklage sich neben dem Halterohr (10) befindet. <IMAGE>
