Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1234919A2] Water pipe element (1) comprises a non-return valve (2) arranged so that it moves in and against the direction of flow. An Independent claim is also included for a sanitary tap fitting comprising the above water pipe element. Preferred Features: The non-return valve lies tightly on the inner side (15) of the water pipe element when impinged upon by water in the direction of flow to prevent water flowing around it.
