[origin: WO0138808A1] The invention relates to a refrigerating device (10) comprising a machine room (13) and a compressor (14) arranged therein. A drain pan (23) is arranged over said compressor at a distance therefrom. Said pan is impinged upon with the lost heat of the compressor (14). Drain pans (23) have to be adapted to the different forms and heights of compressors for being impinged upon with the heat of said compressors (14). A plurality of drain pan (23) constructions thus results. According to the invention, the bottom (32) and the holding section (24) of the drain pan (23) are connected by means of a side wall (28) that can be changed in the height thereof.
