Known deposit devices comprise a means of attachment (V2) to a bar handle (BPO) of a cart, a chain (CH) with a key (5), and a housing (C1, C2) in which a key channel (5) and a channel for a coin or a token (P1, P2) are provided. According to the invention, the coin channel is oblique in relation to the key channel as seen in a horizontal plane.
