[origin: EP1236853A2] Hinge, especially a furniture hinge, comprises a two-part base plate (1) having a lower part (2) for fixing to a furniture body and an upper part (3) fastened to the lower part. A height-adjustable screw (15) for fixing and adjusting the height of the upper part on the lower part has at least one cam disk (43, 44) with an angle-dependent, radially changing slide face interacting with at least one slide face (52, 53) of an associated slide cam (49, 50) of the upper part. Preferred Features: The height-adjusting screw has a screw head (40) with a tool recess and a bolt-like part (41) on the opposite end to the screw head.
