[origin: EP1237147A1] Foot machine for a percussion instrument comprises a bearing base with columns (9, 10) extending upward with bearings in which at least one drumstick is rotatably held by at least one shaft and moved against the force of at least one restoring spring (33) by an operating mechanism operated by a pedal, and a transfer element interacting with a shaft and connected to the restoring spring. The restoring spring is fixed on a lower column part by a tilting lower spring bearing element (74). Preferred Features: The tilting lower spring bearing element has an adjusting element (73) for adjusting the restoring spring tension.
