[origin: WO0137690A1] The invention concerns an improved system for maintaining a tie on a shirt. It concerns an improved system for securely and aesthetically fixing a tie on a shirt, in a practical manner without damaging either the tie or the shirt. In its preferred embodiment, the improved system comprises: a free-end slip-in sleeve (13), that is a free-end passage provided on its height with several slip-in sleeves (16), an elastic tie pin (14). In order to fix the tie on the shirt, the wearer selects a slip-in sleeve (16) of the free-end slip-in sleeve (13) not located opposite a button of the shirt. Said slip-in sleeve is used for positioning the pin (14) on the tie. Then the front opening of the shirt (10) is positioned and clasped in the pin (14).
