[origin: WO0132433A1] The invention concerns a method for printing on cylindrical bodies varnished decorations exhibiting simultaneously shiny patterns and matt or dull-glazed patterns which consists in: selecting, on the basis of the pattern to be printed, a matt ink or a gloss ink according to the final appearance desired in that part of the decoration; printing each of said patterns with said ink; and immediately after printing applying a glossy varnish on the whole surface of the tubular body.
