[origin: WO0130628A1] The invention relates to a vehicle segment (90, 92) for a rail-mounted articulated vehicle comprising a load bearing structure (98) that is arranged on at least one pair of wheels (94) and comprising an outer covering (102) which has a tubular cross-section, which is placed on the load bearing structure (98), and which covers the mounted parts of the vehicle segment, whereby the longitudinal axis of the covering extends in a direction of travel.
