[origin: FR2799768A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a thread with at least two twisted ends, with the twist being fixed. The ends used for constructing the thread are spun when molten and textured in a superheated steam atmosphere. The threads produced according to the method can be used to obtain tufted surfaces with an improved surface appearance after dyeing.
