[origin: EP1238793A1] The tool to give a combined linear groove embossing and cutting action on flat materials, to give folding lines and cuts, has a linear base body (1) with a blunt embossing edge (3) with a convex curvature along one longitudinal edge (2). Its foot zone has a cutting shoulder (5) with a cutting edge (4). The groove embossing edge is along the length (L) of the tool body, and the cutting edge is interrupted (8). The embossing edge has a width (A) at the cutter interruptions which is equal to the width of the cutter feet, as a flat surface (3a).
