[origin: EP1238932A2] The paper web winding device at the end of a paper machine comprises a main drum, a support drum and a web guiding device with a dynamic clamp unit with two draw strands. A clamping extent of the clamp unit, in which the two draw strands (3',4') work together to clamp, ends before the support drum (7). One draw strand (4') is fed over a section of the support drum and is deflected before a nip (8) between the support drum and the main drum (2).
