Abstract (en)
Ironing apparatus (1) comprising a steam generator (2) and an iron (3) provided, in its lower area, with a plate (6) having a plurality of first holes (8) operatively connected to the steam generator (2) to dispense the steam towards items to be ironed positioned underneath the iron (3). The plate (6) further has, in its front portion (9), a plurality of second holes (10) operatively connected to the steam generator (2) to dispense the steam towards items to be ironed positioned in correspondence with the front tip of the iron (3). The apparatus (1) further comprises mechanical adjusting means (13) for manually adjusting the quantity of steam dispensed through the plurality of first holes (8) and the plurality of second holes (10). <IMAGE>
