Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1239105A1] The lock has a pivoting bolt in the basic shape of a parrot's beak to engage with a catch plate (2), the bolt having a tapering portion (5a) bounded by two inclined lateral edges (5b), and the catch plate made with an aperture having a broad section (2a) to receive the bolt and a narrow section (2b) to lock it. The bolt also has two parallel faces adjoining the inclined edges, which ensure that the bolt is fixed once it has been inserted into the catch plate and turned on its pivot.
