Abstract (en)

The device comprises a sound producing unit (26) which has a sound generator (27) and a loudspeaker (28). The sound producing unit generates the sound of a real open fire. The sound generator has a memory unit, in which predetermined sound signals are stored. The sound signals are compressed, and the sound generator has a clock generator which includes a binary counter as well as an integrated oscillator. The sound generator has a digital-analog-converter which is connected to the memory unit.

Vorrichtung zur Simulation eines künstlichen Feuers, insbesondere zum Einsatz in die Feuerstelle eines Kamins, mit einem Gehäuse (1), einem in dem Gehäuse (1) angeordneten künstlichen Brennstoffbett (10), welches von einer Lichtquelle (11) beleuchtbar ist und einer in dem Gehäuse (1) angeordneten Flammen-Simulations-Einheit zur optischen Simulation von Flammen, wobei eine Geräusch-Erzeugungs-Einheit (26) zur Erzeugung und Abgabe von Geräuschen vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
