[origin: EP1239226A2] The flue (3) which is shorter in front than at the back is positioned around a suction duct with inner suction-fan. A fumes-shield (2) slopes upwards and forwards at an acute angle and is positioned around a suction-opening in the suction-duct. A grease-filter, detached form the fumes-shield in the vertical part of the suction-duct is parallel with the cooker-hob. The fumes-shield is positioned on a lower edge of the flue around the sloping suction-opening. The fumes-shield is fixed to a frame and or to a one or multi-part attachment (13.1) on the flue.
