A control roller (18) for installation in an electromechanical switch unit, comprises formed cam contours (23) over its outer circumference, which actuate switches. The roller consists of at least two different plastics. One plastic forms a core (11) and is thermally and structurally stable. Gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung kann eine Steuerwalze (18) zum Einbau in ein elektromechanisches Schaltgerät geschaffen werden. Die Steuerwalze (18) weist an ihrem Außenumfang Nockenkonturen (23) auf, um Schalteinrichtungen des Schaltgeräts zu betätigen. Die Steuerwalze (18) besteht aus zwei Teilen, nämlich einem Kern (11) und einem Walzenkörper (20). Beide Teile sind aus Kunststoff, wobei für jedes Teil ein für diesen Zweck optimierter Kunststoff vorgesehen ist. Der Kern (11) besteht aus einem wärme- und formstabilen ersten Kunststoff, und der Walzenkörper (20) besteht aus einem wirtschaftlich verarbeitbaren zweiten Kunststoff. Der Kern (11) ist mit dem Walzenkörper (20) umspritzt und bildet eine Einheit. <IMAGE>
