[origin: WO0145632A1] A device for rinsing eyes with a spray of rinsing liquid, comprising a spray bottle (1) prefilled with rinsing liquid and a pressurised gaseous propellant. The device includes a valve which is biased towards a closed state and which opens in response to manual actuation through the medium of a valve pipe projecting outwardly in a direction towards the interior of the bottle. The valve (2) is connected to a spray nozzle (3) which forms a spray jet from the finely divided liquid ejected from the bottle via the valve and said nozzle. The device includes means (5, 7) for latching the valve (2) in its open position.
