[origin: WO0138453A1] The invention relates to a latent heat accumulator (1), for example a dynamic latent heat accumulator, comprising a latent heat accumulator material (3) with a paraffin, salt or fat base and a heat transport medium (4) which optionally passes through boiling and condensation phases. In order to obtain an improved latent heat accumulator, the invention is characterised in that the latent heat accumulator material (3), in comparison to the latent heat accumulator (1), consists of small, independent, uncovered elements with flow channels (5) for the heat transport medium (4) remaining therebetween and that the latent heat accumulator material (3) is mixed with a thickening agent.
