[origin: WO0153600A1] The present invention relates to fabric dye protection compositions which protect denim fabric from color loss. The compostions of the present invention comprise one or more denim fabric enhancing compounds, which abates the loss of fabric dye from denim fabric. The compositions comprise A) from about 0.1 % by weight, of a polymer, copolymer, or mixtures thereof, said polymer or copolymer comprising one more units having a cationic group and which is capable of attenuating and/or abating the loss of denim fabric dye; and B) the balance carriers and adjunct ingredients.
