Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0144772A1] The invention relates to a vibration pickup comprising a clamping sleeve. The clamping sleeve (2) can be placed under pressure and mounted on a component that induces vibrations. In order to detect a vibration signal, for example, in a knock sensor, a sensor system (7, 5, 6) is held by a seismic mass, which is situated thereabove, externally on the clamping sleeve (2) under an axial pretensioning on a supporting surface of the clamping sleeve (2) by means of a screw connection. The seismic mass (8) is provided with an internal threading and can be screwed on in a direction toward the sensor system (7) in order to produce the axial pretensioning. The seismic mass (8) or the sensor system (7) comprises at least two radially extending opposing grooves (14, 15, 16; 18, 19, 20, 21) through which, during extrusion coating, plastic can pass into an interior space (17) located between the sensor system (7, 5, 6) and the clamping sleeve (2).
