[origin: WO0133225A2] The present invention provides a method of reversal of a linkage between an antibody and its target ligand comprising reacting said antibody-target ligand linkage with a B-cell superantigen, or a fragment thereof, which acts to reverse said linkage. The present invention further provides the use of this method in various isolation and purification methods, including cell detachment procedures, together with kits for carrying out such methods.
