[origin: WO0148772A1] The invention relates to an electric switch (1) which is particularly suitable for use in a vehicle, for example as a switch (1) for an interior vehicle light. The switch (1) has a housing (2), a contact system in the housing (2) and an actuating organ (4) that is located on the housing (2) and can be displaced between an initial position and at least one actuating position. In the actuating position, the actuating organ (4) makes a connection with the contact system. In addition, the switch (1) has detent elements consisting of a detent curved profile (5) and an elastic detent element (6) which co-operates with said profile. The detent elements exert a detent force on the actuating organ (4) during displacement of the latter and/or in the initial or actuating position. The detent curved profile (5) is positioned on the actuating organ (4). The detent element (6) is configured as a laminated spring (8), whereby said laminated spring (8) is fixed into the housing (2).
