[origin: US7137397B2] A dish rack includes a base rack of a wire framework and at least one rack side element that is releasably connected to the base rack and, as seen by a user who is loading the dish rack with items which are to be washed, is fitted laterally thereto. A cutlery-accommodating device is integrated in the rack side element to produce an integral dish rack the allows, on one hand, the straightforward construction of the base rack-preferably in the form of a U-and, on the other hand, the releasable fastening of the rack side element to an integrated cutlery-accommodating device.
