[origin: WO0141887A1] An in-line roller skate provided with several wheels in a line one after the other. The roller skate has a shoe and a frame for fixing of the wheels, which frame comprises an extruded section, which extends in the longitudinal direction on the bottom side of the shoe and has two substantially parallel side rails, between which the wheels are fixed. Each side rail of the frame has one or more internal chambers, formed during the extrusion of the section and extending substantially along the length of the side rail. Each side rail, in the case of at least one internal chamber thereof, preferably forms a closed peripheral wall around the chamber along the entire length of that chamber, which produces great stiffness of the frame.
