[origin: FR2797864A1] The invention relates to a machine for filling containers, comprising a series of filling stations (10), each of which is equipped with an impervious chamber for receiving a container (18) to be filled. Said chamber is opened in order to load or unload the container (18) and closed in order to control the atmosphere in the chamber during the filling process. The chamber is delimited by an upper head section (15), which has a filling spout (16), by an essentially cylindrical lateral wall (28) and by a base wall (30). The invention is characterised in that the filling machine has elements for modifying the volume of the closed chamber (26).
