[origin: US6931898B2] A tool for unlocking a locking cylinder, with a tumbler consisting of a plurality of spring-loaded locking bodes that can be displaced crosswise to the rotational axis of the locking cylinder. The tool comprises a rotating part ( 1 ) provided with two driver noses ( 10 ) on its cylinder side end, which can be inserted into the keyway. The tool furthermore comprises a sliding part ( 4 ) that is positioned such that it is connected form-locking to the rotating part 91 ) in the rotating direction and axially movable in the axial direction and has a flat sensing element ( 6 ) on the cylinder-side end that can be inserted into the keyway. The cross-sectional profile of the sensing element corresponds at least in some sections to the cross-sectional profile of the keyway, wherein at least one sensing body ( 9 ) for displacing the locking body inside the locking cylinder is assigned to the sensing element.
