Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0145459A2] The inventive method enables to detect parameters of loudspeakers during real operation by measuring the current (im) of the speech coil and contains the following steps: 1) Measuring the current (im) of the speech coil, whereby said current occurs when the loudspeaker is excited by means of a known input signal (ue). 2) Simulatively estimating the current of the speech coil for the same input signal by means of an equivalent electric network and a time-discrete model that is derived therefrom by means of wave digital realisation. 3) Modifying the parameters in the loudspeaker model by previously detecting start values and minimising the average square error of the measured and simulated current of the speech coil using a gradient method. The equivalent network contains a series connection of two transmitters. The first transmitter is provided with an inductor (Ls) on the secondary side and the second transmitter is provided with the parallel connection of a resistor (1/r) pertaining to a capacitor (M) and a third transmitter on the secondary side.
