The longitudinal walls of the outlet slot are constructed and spaced apart so that the longitudinal edges of the long section of the dosing rod when the dosing rod is in a closed position lie adjacent to the corresponding walls of the outlet slot so that the inner chamber(51) of the gluing head(16) is outwardly sealed.
