[origin: FR2822172A1] The shoring device (10) for a support wall (2) of an excavation (1) comprises a stabilization support (15) which is supported against the wall end (15a). A rigid support structure (12) is located inside the excavation and against the external wall (12a) of which the stabilization support is supported at its opposite end (15b) so that the interior of the structure defines a freely accessible work space (25). An Independent claim is included for the use of the shoring device.

Afin d'accéder aisément à l'intérieur d'une fouille en diminuant l'encombrement des systèmes d'étayage de fouille, tout en augmentant la fiabilité ou la polyvalence de ces systèmes, l'invention propose d'utiliser une structure rigide d'appui qui permet de libérer une zone de travail centrale. Un dispositif d'étayage (10) d'une paroi de soutènement (2) de fouille (1) selon l'invention comprend au moins un buton de stabilisation (15) adapté pour prendre appui contre ladite paroi (2) au niveau d'une extrémité (15a). Le dispositif présente en outre au moins une structure (12) rigide d'appui disposée à l'intérieur de la fouille et contre la paroi externe (12a) de laquelle vient s'appuyer un buton de stabilisation (15) au niveau de son extrémité opposée (15b), de sorte que l'intérieur de ladite structure (12) définit un espace de travail (25) libre d'accès.
