Abstract (en)

Tubbing (1), especially high-performance tubbing for a tubbing ring used in underground tunnel construction, is made of concrete reinforced with steel fibers. At least one metal rod reinforcing element is integrated in the concrete on the ring-joining side. An Independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing the above tubbing. Preferred Features: The concrete is reinforced with 20-70, preferably 30-50 kg/m<3> of steel fibers and additionally reinforced with plastic fibers. The metal rod reinforcing element is arranged in a ring-joining side region of the tubbing having a width (B1) corresponding to 5-35, preferably 5-30, especially 5-25% of the entire width of the tubbing. At least one steel insert (5) is concreted in the ring-joining side surface (6) of the tubbing.
