[origin: EP1243753A1] Tubbing (1), especially high-performance tubbing, for a tubbing ring used in underground tunnel construction, is made of concrete and has on the ring-joining side at least one coupling element for a form-locking connection with a complementary coupling element on a second tubbing (1') in an adjacent tubbing ring. At least one steel insert (5) having the coupling element is concreted in the ring-joining side surface (6) of the tubbing. Preferred Features: The coupling element is a groove extending over at least the majority of the length of the tubbing and provided for a form-locking connection with a tongue element (8) as a complementary coupling element extending over the majority of the length of the second tubbing.
