Abstract (en)
The luminaire has a molded reflector body (1) comprising a reflective coating (3) with light reflective particles (10) and a binder (11) and having a substrate side (12) and an outer surface (13). The coating (3) has a smooth optical waveguiding surface due to the absence of particles (10) at its outer surface (13) and to the light-transmission properties of the binder (11). Owing to these properties, the coating (3) has a high degree of specular reflection, thereby both increasing the lumen output ratio and improving the light directional properties of the luminaire. <IMAGE>
