Abstract (en)

Locks (40,42,58) controlling access to confined spaces (32,34) open on receipt of bus (62) signals consistent with stored data. The banknote distributor (44) has data entry means (50) with screen (52) which are connected with the locks to a coordination unit (54). The coordination unit which consists of a microprocessor is connected to a remote computer (28) which oversees and has priority over all operations. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) Banknote distributor which uses the locks and computer control system. (ii) Network for managing groups of the banknote distributors.

Abstract (fr)

<IMAGE>
