[origin: WO0143616A1] The invention relates to a crockery basket, comprising a base basket (2) consisting of a wire rack. According to the invention, at least one side of the basket (3, 4) is detachably connected to the base basket (2) and is attached to the base basket as the front wall (3) or as the rear wall (4), when viewed from the standpoint of a user loading the crockery to be washed into the basket. A crockery basket is thus obtained which has a base basket with a simple structure, preferably U-shaped, whose sides have different designs and layouts and are detachably connected to the front and rear side of said basket.
