Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0143767A1] The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for the inhibition of angiogenesis associated with disease in a vertebrate, said composition comprising phosphoglycerate kinase, or a fragment(s) or analogue thereof, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, adjuvant and/or diluent. The present invention also relates to the treatment of disease, especially cancer, in a vertebrate via the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of phosphoglycerate kinase (PGK), or fragment(s) or analogue thereof.
