[origin: WO0147730A1] The invention relates to an anti-slip construction that can be mounted on the rubber tires of motor vehicles. The inventive construction comprises shackle shanks (2) provided with a rack toothing (2a) and linked with the toothed wheels (1a) of a center tensioning hub (1). The shackle shanks (2) are linked with sliding subassemblies (3) that allow a radial movement in the direction of the tensioning hub (1). The construction is further provided with shackle profiles (4) that are mounted on the sliding subassemblies (3) and that can be fixed on the tread (8b) of the tire (8) by means of the center tensioning hub (1). The invention is especially characterized in that the anti-slip construction is provided with rows of chains (5) that can be inserted between the shackle profiles (4) and that can be nested into the terminal hooks (6c) of chain fixing lugs (6) that are fixed on elements (4a) of the shackle profiles (4) that rest on the lateral surface (8a) of the tire (8).
