[origin: EP1245521A2] Safety device comprises a platform which is moved by at least one drive (7) between two masts arranged at a distance from each other. One drive is arranged on or near each end on a slide (8) which is connected to the platform and engages with the relevant mast. A level-dependent safety device (11) is assigned to at least one slide and is triggered by a specific deviation of the long axis of the platform from the horizontal blocking the translational movement of the slide along the mast. Preferred Features: A safety device is assigned to both slides.
