Abstract (en)
Each program is assigned with a computing rule specific to the program and linked to a key factor stored in a memory. This rule determines a scale representing a level of threat/risk to a machine component that is stored as a result in the memory as a new key factor. The execution of a program is modified if the scale exceeds, falls below or reaches a threshold. An Independent claim is also included for a domestic appliance like a washing machine or dishwasher with multiple sequentially executable programs to be selected by a user.

Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Haushaltsgeräts, insbesondere einer Wasch- oder Spülmaschine, mit einer Mehrzahl von benutzerseitig wählbaren sequentiell ausführbaren Programmen, wobei jedem Programm wenigstens eine, auf eine in einem Speicher abgelegte Kennzahl anzuwendende programmspezifische Berechnungsvorschrift zur Ermittlung einer den Gefährdungsgrad einer Maschinenkomponente darstellenden Maßzahl zugeordnet ist, die daraufhin als neue Kennzahl im Speicher abgelegt wird, wobei die Ausführung eines Programms modifiziert wird, wenn die Maßzahl einen Schwellwert über- oder unterschreitet.
