The ironing board assembly (1), especially for steam ironing with a steam generator, has an ironing board (2) supported by a folding frame (3). The folding frame has leg sections (6, 7) which can be separated at the swivel joint (5). The swivel joint is under spring tension, in the opening direction. The frame running wheels (22) are at the rear leg, supporting the weight of the steam generator.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bügelvorrichtung (1), vorzugsweise Dampfbügelvorrichtung, mit einem Bügelbrett (2) und einem das Bügelbrett (2) tragenden Gestell (3), wobei das Gestell (3) ausfahrbar ist und aus zwei, über Drehgelenke (5) verbundenen Gestellteilen (6, 7) besteht. Um eine Bügelvorrichtung der in Rede stehenden Art hinsichtlich der Ausgestaltung des Gestells gebrauchsfreundlicher auszubilden, wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein Gestellteil (6, 7) im Bereich des Drehgelenks (5) teilbar ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
