Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1245716A2] The ironing board assembly (1), especially for steam ironing with a steam generator, has an ironing board (2) supported by a folding frame (3). The folding frame has leg sections (6, 7) which can be separated at the swivel joint (5). The swivel joint is under spring tension, in the opening direction. The frame running wheels (22) are at the rear leg, supporting the weight of the steam generator.
