[origin: EP1245740A1] The self-propelled construction machine, especially with a fitted bulldozer blade (3), has a swing mounting for the blade at the vehicle chassis to pivot vertically around an axis and also swing around a second axis (14) at right angles to it. The blade movements are powered by a hydraulic drive (23). The position of the second vertical axis can be varied in relation to the vehicle chassis for the swing movement of the blade assembly, using a further axis (15) for the carrier (11) which blocks or releases its swing movement through a hydraulic unit.
