[origin: EP1245748A2] The mounting, for bathroom fittings, has a carrier frame (2) with a cladding (3) at least at its front side. Fasteners secure the carrier frame to the floor (4). A horizontal base rail (13) is at the foot of the carrier assembly, with a lost shell and/or a concealed joint for a floor connection, and an acoustic damping strip. A horizontal wall rail (15) holds the carrier frame at the wall (6).
