Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0130923A2] The invention relates to an agent for coating metal surfaces which after hardening is provided with an electrically conductive and corrosion protective coating comprising: a) 10 to 30 weight % of an organic binder which hardens at an object temperature (peak metal temperature "PMT") of 130 to 159 DEG C, preferably between 135 and 150 DEG C; b) 30 to 60 weight % of a powder of an electrically conducting substance; c) 10 to 40 weight % water and d) optionally a total of up to 50 weight % of other active ingredients and/or additives whereby said quantities amount to a total of 100 weight %. The invention also relates to a method for coating metal surfaces with an electrically conductive organic corrosion protective coating. Said metal surfaces are coated with the agent in such a way that, after hardening, a coating thickness of 1 to 10 mu m is attained and coated metal surfaces are heated to a PMT ranging from 130 to 159 DEG C.
