Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0155762A2] The invention relates to a coupling system comprised of an optical plug-in connector (1), of a coupling partner (60) and of a retaining element (20). The housing (3) of the plug-in connector is provided with a sliding key (5) and with two springy detent limbs (6) which comprise a detent nose (7) for engaging with the coupling partner (60). In order to receive the plug-in connector, the coupling partner is provided with a plug inlet (62) which has recesses (63) that correspond to the detent noses of the plug-in connector. The retaining element (20) is comprised of a laterally displaceable outer housing (23) and of an inner housing (24) that is pivotally arranged therein. A locking element (25) provided as a two-limb lever is arranged on the inner housing (24) and serves to lock the plug-in connector in the retaining element. When inserting the plug inlet, this locking is released once the plug-in connector and plug inlet are engaged with one another. The detent limbs of the plug-in connector also carry transversal members (8) which strike against inclined surfaces inside the inner housing (24) of the retaining element when disassembling the coupling system and thus disengage the locking between the plug-in connector and coupling partner. Before this, the active connection between the coupling partner and the locking element is released so that the locking element locks the plug-in connector in the retaining element once again.
