[origin: WO0045318A1] A system and technique which aggregates demand for products or/and services on a real time basis. Individual buyers are aggregated into temporary groups (36, 37). The members of a group can purchase at a volume price. The price paid is based on the number of members in the group. This is done without the members of each temporary group having any interaction with each other and without the members of each temporary group knowing anything about the other members of the temporary group. The price at which products are sold is based upon the number of individuals that have joined each particular group before the buy cycle closes (38).
