[origin: EP1247909A2] Connecting arrangement for a water fitting comprises a connector (10) for the inlet (14) and outlet lines (24) of a water supply line. The connector has an assembly connecting piece (26) on which an intermediate connector (30) is built. The connector and the intermediate connector have corresponding connecting sides which are joined tightly together by a fixing arrangement. The fixing arrangement has a swivel nut (50) which is screwed onto the external thread of the intermediate connector or the connector. Before assembly a lock washer (55) is inserted in a recess (17) of the connector or the intermediate connector. The swivel nut has an angled leading surface (51) which runs on the lock washer on assembly of the swivel nut. The leading surface changes into a notched edge of a peripheral groove (52) in which the lock washer is held in the assembled position.
