Abstract (en)
The screen has a lower part (10) that is hollow or may be a table or desk and contains the upper screen (32) that is raised and lowered within guide grooves. The lowering mechanism may comprise drive belts (253) between two shafts one of which is driven e.g. by a handle (21) and where the belts raise and lower the screen supports (254). The screen may be I-, T- or H-shaped in section or may have a shelf on top and may be fastened at its side edges to other screens.
